Our Story

A: Rendezvous in the Park is a two-day music festival celebrating live performance, community and good vibes. Attendees enjoy a curated lineup of artists, food and drink vendors, and attractions in the lovely East City Park.

Q: When and where does it take place?
A: The festival takes place over two days the third weekend in July at East City Park. Gates open at approximately 4pm each day.

Q: How do I get tickets?
A: Tickets can be purchased online via our website or at local vendors such as One World Cafe, Hunga Dunga Brewery and Bookpeople. All tickets are general admission. Once you complete your purchase, you’ll receive a digital ticket via email which will be scanned at the gate.

Q: Are children allowed?
A: Yes! Kids are welcome. Children under 12 attend free (when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult). Please make sure all minors are under adult supervision.

Q: Can I bring food or drinks into the festival?
A: For safety and logistics, outside alcoholic beverages (especially glass containers or large coolers) are not permitted. We’ll have an assortment of food and drink vendors onsite offering a wide variety of options including vegetarian and gluten-free choices.

Q: What items are prohibited?
A: Prohibited items include (but are not limited to): weapons of any kind, glass containers, outside alcohol, professional still / video cameras, large backpacks/coolers, laser pointers, and pets (service animals only). All bags are subject to search by security staff for your safety.

Q: What is the parking and transportation situation?
A: Parking is limited at the venue, so we strongly encourage using rideshare services, public transit, shuttles or walk.

Q: What happens if it rains or weather becomes bad?
A: The show goes on! The festival is an outdoor event, and we do proceed in light rain. In the event of severe weather (lightning, heavy winds etc.), we may delay or modify the schedule for safety. Please check real-time updates on our social channels.

Q: Is the festival accessible?
A: Yes — we strive to make Rendezvous in the Park accessible to all guests. We offer ADA-accessible viewing areas, and companion seating. If you need additional accommodations (mobility assistance, hearing/visual access etc.), you can contact our accessibility team in advance at info@rendezvousintheparkcom

Q: What is the refund policy?
A: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation. In the event the festival cannot be held at all, we will communicate refund or ticket transfer options. Please keep your ticket confirmation email handy.

Q: Can I volunteer or be a vendor?
A: Yes! We welcome applications from volunteers, food & drink vendors, merch sellers and sponsors. Please visit the “Get Involved” section of our website for details, deadlines and application forms.

Q: What should I bring / how should I prepare?
A: Plan for changing outdoor conditions: bring layers, sunscreen, a hat, and rain gear if needed. Wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated, and note that some bags may not be permitted (check size limits). Mobile phone chargers or power-banks are a smart idea. Arrive early to avoid crowds.

Q: How can I stay updated?
A: For the latest news, lineup changes, schedule updates and on-site information, follow us on our social channels and subscribe to our festival newsletter. We’ll post important announcements there.
