Welcome to Rendezvous for Kids!
Dates: Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19, 2024
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Location: East City Park, 900 E Third St, Moscow, ID
Ages 3-12 years
Established in 1992, Rendezvous for Kids is a two-day arts festival for children ages 3-12 years old, scheduled in tandem with the family-friendly Rendezvous in the Park evening concerts on July 19th and 20th. (Under 12 admitted free to evening concerts).
PROGRAM: Children will participate in a variety of different activities each morning. Kids are also invited (with parent or guardian accompaniment) to participate in an animal parade at the Rendezvous in the Park show in the evening on Friday —time TBA.
Activities will include:
Animal Dance and Percussion with dancer Corrie Befort, courtesy Moscow Contemporary with percussionist Jon Lyksett
Animal Mask and Costume Creation with artist from Moscow Contemporary
Tiny Animal Clay Sculpture Making with artist from Moscow Contemporary
Tie Dying with TYE DYE EVERYTHING

Fairy Garden Creation

Sign in: Parents and guardians sign in their children at 8:30 am. Parents are expected to pick up and sign out their children no later than 12:30 pm. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
Registration: Fees are $35/child for one morning; or $60/child both mornings.
Online registration is now closed. Walk-on registration is welcome starting at 8:30am. Please be advised that space is now limited.
ACCOMPANIMENT: A parent or guardian accompaniment is required for children aged 3-4 years. Please make sure to equip your child with a water bottle and apply sunscreen prior to arrival. Rendezvous for Kids takes place outside (rain or shine); make sure your children wear appropriate clothing. We work hard to ensure that no child is excluded due to financial or physical challenges.
